Alas poor chuck, I knew him well
*sniff*
It is my duty now to bring you the terrible news. Everyones friend chuck last week passed away. It was a quiet and painless passing, but where he went, he will not be coming back. Despite early hopes, his body ended up rejecting his transplant heart, at a time when he was most vulnerable and far from help. We are still awaiting results from the autopsy but the evidence is quite clear. Should we sue for medical negligence? I guess that is a decision for the future. For now, we are more concerned with seeing if any of his organs can be given so that others may have life. It is hoped that his heart, memory and vision are still fully functional and may be able to be transplanted into a newer, youthfull host.
I shall post the autopsy results when they come in. If you do wish to show your condolences to chuck, you can donate to the “resurrect chuck foundation” (rcf), please make checques payable to William Denniss. Chucks best mate known to most as “tank” said a few words on his passing. “I always liked chuck, he’d never complain when given a task, and didn’t stop working till it was done. But the good thing was is that sometimes he could forget about work, kick back and down a few beers. That’s what I liked about him, his easy going attitude.” So true tank, so true. Here’s to chuck.
Goodnight all, and again I offer my most deepest condolences.
A dear friend (who is now stuck with the medical bill),
Will.
Chuck recieves a heart transplant
I have heard some news about everyones friend Chuck (known to some as “a battler”, “the tireless worker”, and praised by all for always getting the job done, even if it is at a slightly more laid back pace). Recentally he had to undergo heart transplant surgery. The transplaned heart was taken from a named donor, Adrian Mark Dalton. The good news is that despite the surgeon dropping the heart on the floor the operation was a complete success. Chuck claims to be feeling “fast and frisky” however he is under close temperature observation by hospital workers for the time being.
He is looking forward to going back to his family and expects to be released from the Princess Alexandra hospital where his surgery took place at approximately 5pm today. When asked if he would still continue his original job he claimed “I have never been more qualified, I feel as if this surgery has given me a new start in life, and I hope to be more efficient in the future”. He is also looking forward to a few relaxing days break playing a few games, of which apparentally Warcraft III and Battlefield 1942 are among his favorites.
The only slight controversy on the day was with the old heart, with claims that it was taken to be sold on the black market. An high up source who wishes not to be named said apparentally the going rate was $50, which included the cooling ice box at no extra charge.
Chuck hopes this will be the last time he is hospitalised, however there is a rumour he will need some neural corrective treatment (possibly administered at his home) to cure him of his unusual fear of windows.
That’s all from me, I shall keep you posted.
A very relieved,
Will.
