PSP’s killer title
Lumines is pretty addictive, Wipout Pure shows stunning graphics, but I think GTA: Liberty City Stories is the killer title that the PSP needs. Check out the screen shots and videos! Some of the “emails” on that site are pretty funny too.
It looks different from past GTA games, the more I see the more I want it.

End of an era
I released the other week that I wasn’t an executive but a gamer – so what was I doing with a PDA when I should have a PSP? Now that PocketPC has well and truly won the PDA OS war, owning a Palm is even less appealing (what I fool I was going for the Palm on the basis that they were the innovater *hmm nintendo DS anyone?*).
To my surprise, selling the Palm and cashing in my shrapnel jar raised enough for the PSP with a little left over for a USB cable and a tasty snack.

You wouldn’t steal a wheelchair
Interesting that the new anti-piracy movie ads show a guy buying bootleg DVD’s on a dark ally instead of a girl downloading them (at rather fast speeds). I guess someone bright finally figured out that on the earlier ads they were basically informing the masses that it was actually possible to download movies – something which the studios arn’t prepared to offer legally yet (the wisdom of that is another topic).

MOD chipping declared legal in Australia
* falls of chair *
Something is actually going right in this country for once. The High Court of Australia has ruled that mod chipping is legal because it removes restrictions that Sony sought to impose “beyond those revlevent to any copyright infringements” (such as playing imports and home made content). Being a high court ruling, Sony basically just has to put up with it.
“There is no copyright reason why the purchaser should not be entitled to copy the CD-Rom and modify the console in such a way as to enjoy his or her lawfully acquired property without inhibition”
Too bloody right!

Photo Order
I will soon be putting in a photo order at my local professional photo lab. These photos are printed on fuji paper and are twice colour corrected by hand so they generally turn out pretty good. So if you want to order any prints from my entire back catalogue drop me an email :) Deadline to email me is tomorrow.
Cheers,
Will.
