I saw Monster In Law (not voluntarily mind you) and that pretty much sums it up. And the War of the Worlds description sounds pretty accurate from what I saw of the trailer. It is all filmed on the Hawksbury River in NSW and some of the cinematography combinined with music is very striking. The life of the oyster farmers is fascinating.
